 A 42.2 km marathon but how friendly, those for whom sport is synonymous with health, celebration and conviviality are welcome. If sad, aggressive or looking for a "stopwatch": abstain !!!

 This marathon is party time:

On Friday,  do not miss the Mille Pate dinner at the  Château PEDESCLAUX  with music, various activities and fireworks at 11:00 p.m.

 The Marathon Day: Start show, animations in the race with more than 90% runners in disguise, animations around the race with the 52 animations, the 22 refuelling points, the twenty tasting points, the special refuelling (oysters, ham, steaks, cheese, ice cream, etc.), and the presence of hundreds of school children in disguise and delighted. 

 The evening of the marathon with a large dancing orchestra open to all, fireworks and a Marathon village resonating with the sound of multiple orchestras and decorated with appetizing restorations.

 Sunday: Relax the day after the Marathon with the famous recovery ride open to 4000 people, (and 1450 Guess for lunch after ride) at the PEDESCLAUX Castle.

What is included when travelling with Marathours

•  You will stay for 6 nights at the 4-star Mercure Bordeaux Cité Mondiale Hotel, which is directly in the City Center, including lunch every day
• Delivery of your bib, sweater, brochures, posters and other items directly to the hotel reception

Tours offered at an additional cost:

•  Walking tour of the City of Bordeaux, walk through the historic heart of the city including 3 hours of service with a state-certified guide and access to certain monuments such as the Pey-Berland Cathedral
• Discovery of the vineyards - A half-day (4 hours) private and exclusive to our group for a discovery of the vineyards of the Bordeaux region, with guide including two cellar visits and two tastings.
• Discovery of the vineyards - A private day (9 hours) exclusive to our group for a discovery of the vineyards of the Bordeaux region, including a guide, four cellar visits and four tastings, with or without meals.

Our hotel is located in the city center, on the banks of the Garonne so you can take a walk on the lively quays to go and visit the Cité du Vin 15 minutes away on foot or the historic center of Bordeaux. A short distance  from Place des Quinconces, the hotel is located between the historic heart of Bordeaux and the Cité du Vin, a unique place in the world devoted to wine cultures.
